Test Designer

I'm putting together a new app for PDF design. It's very early in it's dev process, but if you would like to try it out here it is:
https://designer.nikau.consulting/

It's AI enabled, based on learnings from several iterations of similar tools I've been involevd with in the last years. This however, is a fresh attempt - it is not connected to any other app, unlike my previous attempts (ie with Ketty, Wax, and Kotahi).

My goal is to get the UX model right, and so I'm going down the path of the latest UX patterns for AI apps - these often are dark mode, and a chat window on the right panel with context information included in the chat output area. Tools are also located in around the prompt area, and then the thin left sidebar opens additional controls as tabs on either the main space or left pane.

I'll get this working right (its very basic at the moment) and then bring in some form of agent to iterate on higher level commands.

There is a little more to this app than meets the eye. I have written before about the need to balance free form text commands (prompts) with good looking results. There are many ways to walk this line and I'm working this out with this app. I may bring this to market, if anyone sees some potential in it let me know.

I have a lot of other apps I'm working on, so right now this is an experiment. Lets see.
